In cooperation with the Texas Department of Transportation and as a service to the community, the Magnolia Area Chamber of Commerce has purchased utility poles for community organizations to hang across-the-road banners to promote their fundraising activities. The Chamber will schedule the banners and assist individuals with the completion of TXDOT requirements for hanging banners on the department's right of way.

The poles are located on FM1774 near the Beyette intersection and on FM1488 near Magnolia Food Basket. Banners will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis and must have the TXDOT form completed and approved in order to hang the banners. Because some organizations will wish to hang only one banner, each location will be scheduled separately.

The forms are below. Once all the requirements have been met, paperwork should be faxed to the Chamber office at 281-356-2552. The Chamber office staff will then verify acceptance with the TxDOT office and notify organization members.   There is a $300 fee for the TXDOT approved contractor to hang the banners.
