Heavy mist hugged the air on the morning of Saturday, March 14, 2015 as 724 cyclists made their way to Magnolia West High School to participate in the 2015 B-geO Magnolia Miles Bike Ride, benefiting the Holy Name Passionist Retreat Center and The Greater Magnolia Chamber of Commerce. The sun peaked through the mangy mist just in time at ride start, blossoming the day into a gorgeous, clear skied day - just perfect for a bike ride.
Fifty three cooking teams came together to show off their cookin' skills in the GMCC 21st Annual Magnolia Showdown BBQ Cook-Off! The weekend featured competition in open protein, dessert, margarita, beef brisket, chicken, beans and pork spare ribs. Everyone had a great time enjoying the beautiful sunny weather, comradery of friends and family, and the sweet smell of BBQ in the air!
